The hinged heavy-duty PRODEF® Mod. 40110 handcuff is made from high quality, hardened steel with a matt black finish. The hinged version allows for less freedom to move than the chained version, using three heavy-duty hinges to form the joint.
The handcuff has a Double-Lock system which stops the cuffs from fastening any further after the double-lock has been engaged, preventing accidental injuries on the wrists. Also equipped with guided (grooved) bows and 3-row ratchets possessing 9 teeth each (3x3 parallel). This type of handcuff is also used by police and security services and is a valuable asset for anyone in- and outside of this industry.
